Owasso CVS Investigated By Okla. State Board Of Pharmacy

Complaints about prescription mistakes at a local pharmacy led to an investigation by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.

The New York Times reported the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy investigated the pharmacy at the CVS store in Owasso and cited the CVS location in a complaint. 

The complaint said the CVS located on 96th Street North in Owasso was under investigation. 

The complaint also stated that the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy has received "several letters of concern from various CVS employes regarding the lack of adequate staffing at the CVS Pharmacies."

The company released a statement to us, saying in part that they "look forward to addressing the allegations in the Oklahoma complaint at an upcoming hearing before the pharmacy board."
