State Department Of Corrections Investigating Prisoner Death In Cushing

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is investigating the death of a prisoner at the Cimarron Correctional facility in Cushing.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is investigating the death of a prisoner at the Cimarron Correctional facility in Cushing.

Medical staff at the prison were notified about a prisoner who needed medical attention on Tuesday. Staff used a defibrillator and performed CPR until emergency responders arrived.

The prisoner was pronounced dead at a hospital.
