Man Shot Dead By Police After Stabbings In London

The BBC reported that police in London have shot and killed a man after he stabbed at least two people.

The Metropolitan Police tweeted that the situation was under control, and they are considering it to be terrorist-related. 

Police say the attacker was wearing a fake bomb and was under surveillance when he stabbed two people on a busy road in London.

Shortly after, He was shot and killed by officers nearby.

A third person was hurt by flying glass from those officer's gunshots.   

Witnesses praised the quick action by police.

The attacker was not only known to authorities, but he was also recently released from prison where he served time for terror offenses.

Back in November, London police also shot and killed a convicted terrorist after he stabbed two people to death.

Police believe the most recent attach was linked to Islamic terrorism.
