Tinker Air Force Base Changing Gate Times Because Of COVID-19

Starting Monday morning each gate around Tinker Air-force Base has its own set of rules for the foreseeable future.

The Tinker, Lancer and Gott Gates will be the the only ones that remain open 24-7.

Every other gate around the base however has specific closures.

The Turnbull gate will temporarily close at this time.

Meanwhile the Hope Gate will go unmanned and people will need card access to get inside.

Both the Hruskocy and Pegasus Gates will close 30 minutes earlier than normal, their new hours will be 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Meanwhile the Vance and Liberator Gates will open only from 5:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Tinker officials emphasize that this is a temporary change due to COVID-19, and that they will discuss daily to either loosen or tighten the restrictions depending on the viruses spread.
