A Norman couple has opened their hearts and work truck to help those affected by the pandemic.
Wicked Fast Garage Mobile Mechanic has worked out of a pickup since October 2019.
With less people driving, the phone hasn’t been ringing too much for mechanic services, but Jason and Christine Winn have kept busy.
The couple cleared out their pantry to offer groceries to those who need it during these rough times.
“People struggling already and didn’t know what to do,” Jason Winn said.
The couple said they ran out of food fast and took to social media to ask for more donations.
“If you want to donate us some groceries, we will pick them up off your porch. We will redeliver them to people,” said Christine Winn, who lost her job due to the pandemic.
In the past week or so, the couple has been to towns all over the area, picking up and delivering food.
So far, they’ve help 85 people with food deliveries.
“Neighbors helping neighbors, that’s what this is,” Christine Winn said.
