Several Northeast Oklahoma city councils will meet to come up with a plan on how to move forward since Governor Stitt is allowing communities to partially reopen.
Jenks, Sand Springs, Bixby, and Muskogee are all holding meetings to discuss their next steps.
In Jenks, the city could lift restrictions immediately if the council votes in favor of that plan.
The mayor of Sand Springs says the city plans to adopt the governor's recovery plan... but will keep its playgrounds and community centers closed.
Bixby city councilors will re-evaluate emergency proclamations and possibly make changes to follow the Governor's plan.
In Muskogee the COVID-19 task force has recommended following Stitt's plan and the city will make an official decision this evening.
