Oklahoma State Commit From Muskogee Keeping Busy During Pandemic

Hard work and the Cowboys’ blue-collar attitude won't be difficult for Muskogee’s Ty Williams to maintain in Stillwater next year. The star quarterback and safety is holding down three jobs while training for his final year as a Rougher.

"I just work whenever I can,” Williams said. “Usually, I work from 8 to 3:30 and then do a side job after that. Then I just work out three times a day. I try to at least and get my run in like I rode back to church yesterday."

Williams’ work ethic has translated on the field as he had one of the most productive junior seasons with 41 total touchdowns while hauling in nine interceptions on defense.

“We got a whole new offense, but it’s a lot of work,” Williams said. “I feel like, if everybody buys in, we have an opportunity to go do big things this year."

Along with his talent on the field, he isn't bad with a fishing pole.

"I snoop in a little bit of ponds here and there,” Williams said. “I'm a great fisherman. You know I do it all."

All in all, football can't get here quick enough for the soon-to-be Cowboy.

"I still do a few DB drills here and there and throw a little bit just to get ready for the season,” Williams said. “You got to work around the schedule because you can't really do too much."
