Tulsa Woman Claims She Stabbed Boyfriend In Self Defense

A man is hospital after Tulsa police said his girlfriend stabbed him several times at the Cobblestone Apartments near 51st and Memorial.

Tulsa police said the woman told officers she stabbed her boyfriend in self-defense.

Officers said the woman ran out of her apartment yelling for help around 2 o'clock this morning and a neighbor called 911.

Police said the woman told officers her boyfriend was attacking her, so she stabbed him twice in the chest and once on his backside in self-defense.              

Officers said the man was talking and is expected to survive. They say the woman and a small child inside the apartment were not hurt.

Officers said they will interview the woman and the man before making any decisions about any possible arrests. Their names have not been released.
