Some people across northeast Oklahoma woke up Friday to damage after severe storms blew through.

No tornadoes were reported, but the heavy wind and rain did snap trees in the McAlester area.

Residents are now focusing on the clean-up efforts.

One huge tree came crashing down just feet away from one home.

Janet Dickerson said she heard the tree snap before it fell and said the tree had been there for more than 25 years.

Another tree came down on Ashley Edwards' property.

That tree broke Edwards' fence and then fell into a neighbor's yard.

News On 6's Oklahoma Weather Experts said winds in McAlester topped more than 60 MPH during the storms.
