Police: 1 Person Recovering After Tulsa Shooting

Tulsa Police said a person is in the hospital after being shot in the chest Monday night near Peoria and 36th Street North.

A detective on scene told News on 6 that police responded to a shooting around 10 p.m. Monday.

When officers arrived on scene they found a person had been shot in the chest and arm with a shotgun.

Police claim the shooting stemmed from an argument in a parking lot but don't know what the argument was about since the people involved didn't cooperate.

Police said the suspect drove away after the shooting but know his identity.

Police have not released the names of anyone involved in the shooting.
