Tulsa Municipal Courts To Reopen In Phases Starting Monday

Tulsa Municipal Courts To Open Monday, May 18th and will open in multiple phases.

Officials said the first phase will take place from May 18 until May 29th.

Officials said during this phase, "out-of-custody criminal defendants, small claims courts, and those who are supposed to appear in traffic court do not need to appear during this timeframe."

Officials said new dates will be provided.

Officials stated entry to courtrooms will be limited to "attorneys, parties, necessary staff, victims, and witnesses, [and] judges may allow others inside."

Officials also said if someone is granted access to a courtroom, masks and gloves will be required.

Jury trials set for May 18, June 1, and June 15 are also canceled and will be rescheduled officials said.
