Hunger Free Oklahoma Launches Hotline To Help With SNAP Applications

Many Oklahoma families are struggling financially because of the COVID-19 pandemic. And some are encouraged to apply for SNAP benefits.

When someone typically applies for SNAP, they get money based off their situation. But right now, every family of four can get the max benefits if they qualify. 

Hunger Free Oklahoma has launched a statewide hotline to help Oklahomans enroll in SNAP.

Qualifying applicants can get the maximum amount for their family size, which for a family of four is $649 per month toward groceries.

The hotline phone number to enroll is 1-877-760-0114.

Applications should take about 30 minutes.

The hotline is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
