Tulsa Transit is helping those who might be unemployed right now. They'll be offering free rides through at least the end of April. These free rides aren't meant to encourage you to get out but rather take you to places that are considered essential.

Tulsa Transit is helping those who might be unemployed right now due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
They will be offering free rides beginning Wednesday and running through at least the end of the month. Tulsa Transit is also making changes to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
Passengers will now get on and off through the back door of the bus instead of the front door that's just to limit exposure to the bus drivers. However, if you use a wheelchair and need a ramp you'll still be able to use the front door.
Officials say these free rides aren't meant to encourage you to get out but rather take you to places that are considered essential.
