Claremore Voters To Decide If Penny Tax Should Be Renewed

Claremore voters will soon decide if they want to extend a penny sales tax. The sales tax has been in place since 1978. It provides funding for police, fire, and parks. If renewed the tax would remain in effect for another 10 years. <br/><br/><br/><br/>

Claremore voters will soon decide if they want to extend a penny sales tax.

The sales tax has been in place since 1978. It provides funding for police, the fire department, and parks. If renewed the tax would remain in effect for another 10 years.

Polls open February 11th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting at the Rogers County Election Board starts Thursday.
