Four more virus-related deaths were reported and 111 more Oklahomans tested positive for coronavirus since Friday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
The four additional deaths occurred between May 13-May 21.
A total of 5,960 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 311 total virus-related deaths were reported, the state health department said Friday. 112 more Oklahoma have recovered from the virus bringing the statewide total to 4,645.

On April 28, Gov. Kevin Stitt said anyone who wished to take a COVID-19 test could do so even if they are not presenting symptoms.

On April 22, Stitt introduced his multi-phase plan for reopening the state beginning with plans to reopen personal care businesses on Friday by appointment only.

Oklahoma City and Tulsa started reopening on Friday, May 1, after they allowed their shelter in place orders expire.
Stitt issued an executive order April 2 declaring a health emergency in all 77 Oklahoma counties.

The state health department advises anyone with COVID-19 symptoms such as shortness of breath, fever or coughing to stay home and limit person-to-person engagement.
