Crowds Damage Businesses Near 71st And Memorial

TULSA, Okla. -

Crowds damaged some businesses near 71st Street and Memorial Monday night.

The Auto Zone was damaged when someone threw a shopping cart through a window.

The vandals also smashed in a glass door.

News On 6 crews, who were on the scene Monday night, said most protesters were trying to stop these vandals from causing a lot of property damage.

And News On 6 spoke with one man who said he wanted to keep these business owners from having to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars making repairs.

The area is quiet Tuesday morning, but there have been security vehicles in the area.
