Woman Accused Of Attempting To Hit Man With Car, Tulsa Police Say

Tulsa Police arrested a woman accused of trying to hit a man with the victim's own car.

Police say the two lived together and that this incident happened at their apartment complex near 71st and Lewis.

Police said they got a call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon in progress around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

They said the man left his apartment for a bit and, when he came back to get his keys and wallet, he told police the woman had locked him out.

Police said the man then went to the parking lot, as he wasn't able to get into his unit.

That's when the woman took his keys and stole his car, according to officers.

Police arrested her shortly after she crashed.

Right now, police have yet to release the woman's name.

No one was hurt.
