One more virus-related death was reported and 96 more Oklahomans tested positive for coronavirus since Thursday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

A total of 7,003 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 345 total virus-related deaths were reported, the state health department said Friday.

A technical glitch delayed the release of the daily coronavirus numbers by more than six hours.

The information concerning the one death was not released by the state health department on Friday.

So far, 5,867 Oklahomans have recovered from the virus with 86 more cases considered recovered since Thursday. Health officials said recovered means the patient is not hospitalized or deceased and it has been 14 days since the onset of symptoms or report.
