Investigators are looking into two overnight fires and say they may have been started on purpose.

The fire marshal says they believe both fires were set by homeless people, but they are still investigating.

The first fire was around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday near Apache and Garrison.

Firefighters say the home was vacant and no utilities were set up inside, but the fire marshal was called in to investigate what happened.

Less than two hours later, crews were called out to a building behind the Dollar General near Pine and Sheridan, where they quickly put out the fire.

Firefighters say some of the smoke got into the Dollar General, so they had to open up the store to get the smoke out.
