Demolition crews will be tearing down the last parts of a Tulsa church after it caught fire multiple times.
the church is expecting 100-200 people to be there as this building is torn down in just a few hours.
It's the last part of the demolition.
News On 6 told you when the church caught on fire twice last year with two people dying in the second fire.
Since then, Memorial Drive Church of Christ has been holding services at the old Eastside Christian Church building.
Lee Wills has attended the church for nearly 40 years and says he plans to be here for today's event.
This place has a lot of memories for him and his family but he says the past year has been a reminder that the church is more than a building.
Wills said "up to the point that something like this happens[it's] very easy to say, but once a congregation has experienced something like this; you realize that you live that out."
Church members say they haven't met in person since March because of the pandemic.
