TULSA, Okla. -

Bryce Thompson is a consensus five-star shooting guard out of Booker T. Washington High School who is headed to the University of Kansas in the fall.

With high school over, now he's preparing to play in the Big 12. Fortunately, Thompson has a strong support system to lean on - including his dad, Rod Thompson, a former TU guard and the director of the prominent 'Playing With A Purpose' AAU program.

Bryce Thompson said of his father, "He pushes me all the time, making sure I'm not slacking, making sure I'm staying on my p's and q's. He's good, he's been there, and I couldn't ask for a better dad."

All of the workouts, the hill springs, the thousands of shots, now all lead to one place: Allen Fieldhouse, and a moment that father and son will remember forever.
