Bikers across Green Country came together to escort 3-year-old Ryan, 4-year-old Tegan and their family at Pleasant View Church in Pryor.

"We are here to take these babies to their final resting place so they can get their wings," said Troy Rice, who is the president of the Mayes County chapter of Riders United 4 Children.

Some bikers had pink flowers and clothing on, which was Tegan's favorite color. Her younger brother, Ryan loved motorcycles.

"We as grown men, we do shed tears every time something like this happens. Whether it's an abused child or a death, it's saddening," Rice shared.

Cricket is the Broken Arrow chapter president for Riders United 4 Children. He said the miles didn't matter to help and show their support.

"I've escorted funerals before not two at once. This is a first for us," Cricket said. "We do want to make a difference for these kids, that's our motto, making a difference one child at a time."

Police said the children died of heat after being in their father, Dustin Dennis', truck for more than five hours. Surveillance video released this week shows the kids getting into the truck themselves while their father said he was asleep.

The family said it was all about saying goodbye and knowing their two angels are now in heaven together.

"Makes you want to go home and hug your kids. You never know if you have tomorrow," Cricket said.

Dennis is out of jail on a personal recognizance bond. No charges have been filed at this time.
