The Oklahoma State Supreme Court has rejected a state proposal that wanted to overturn Oklahoma's permitless carry law.
The State Supreme Court ruled state question 809 did not correctly explain the proposal and was misleading. That means, it will not be on any ballots, unless the group starts the process over from the beginning, starting with gathering signatures again.
The Oklahoma Supreme Court did rule that a recreational marijuana petition can move forward. Supporters now have 90 days to get 180,000 signatures in order to put state question 807 on the ballot for November.
