Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car Near 71st And Sheridan

Tulsa Police said a man is in the hospital in serious condition after being hit by his Uber driver near 71st and Sheridan.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday. 

Police said the victim is in the hospital in serious to critical condition, but they are investigating this as a homicide because they don't believe he will survive. 

Police said this may have happened on 71st near Sheridan and then the car that was involved ended up against a retainer wall at the Mr. Klean Car Wash parking lot. 

Police said an Uber driver and the passenger, who was intoxicated, got into a fight and police are now trying to find out if the driver hit the man on purpose. 

Investigators were able to speak with witnesses before leaving the scene.

Police said the Uber driver is being questioned.
