Tulsa Police Investigating Early-Morning Homicide

Tulsa police officers responded to a shooting near the intersection of U.S. Highway 64 and East 61st Street early Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, authorities said they found a victim on the ground just after 3 a.m. The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Keith Gruhlkey.

Police claimed Gruhlkey was shot in the upper torso several times. Gruhlkey was transported to a local hospital where he later died just before 11 a.m.

The killing was ruled a homicide. Detectives are investigating the scene.
