UPDATE: Escaped Inmate Caught Near Arpelar

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says an escaped inmate is back in custody Saturday morning.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says an escaped inmate is back in custody Saturday morning.

ODOC staff discoverd 20-year-old Michael Craig Jr. missing from the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester Friday night during the 9 p.m inmate count. Authorities took Michael Craig, Jr. into custody around 7 a.m. in Arpelar, a small town near McAlester. Craig is serving time for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and robbery or attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon. Both charges are out of Oklahoma County.
