A new group is hoping to be a hub for white allies committed to the fight against systemic racism and all forms of racial injustice.

Whites Against Racism (WAR) is working alongside the Black Lives Matter Movement in Oklahoma City.

Jess Eddy said many Caucasians want to help the movement but aren't sure how.

"War will serve as an educational tool to advise the white community for the best practices to support communities of color," said Eddy.

BLM encouraged their white friends and neighbors to learn more about WAR.

"This is really a continuation of disparate treatment against black and brown people in the protest," said Eddy.

While WAR is educating white people, they also encourage involvement.

"White people to gather in actions and protest of all kinds of injustices," said Eddy.

Their first call for white allies is this weekend to organize around the sit-in for Indigenous resistance.
