The Summer Olympics were scheduled to begin next week in Tokyo, but the COVID-19 pandemic has forced them to be postponed for a year.

That's giving athletes an extra year to prepare and in some cases, made them improvise -- whether it's a canoeist using his girlfriend's swimming pool or Russian basketball players pulling cars to stay fit.

"I'm lucky I've got the treadmill at home so I've been running on my treadmill and sometimes I've been going once to exercise outside," said Distance Runner for Great Britain Mo Farah.

It's expected the delayed games will cost an additional $3 billion.
