Liberty Island Reopens After 4-Month Closure Due To COVID-19 Pandemic

Liberty Island is starting to reopen after a four-month closure because of the pandemic. As of Monday, people can take a ferry to visit the grounds, but the Statue of Liberty crown and pedestal, the museum and information center are still closed. Ellis Island is also closed.
