On Monday night, the Sapulpa City Council have decided against implementing a mask ordinance for their citizens.
City councilors voted tonight 7-3 to "not take action" on a proclamation that included a mask mandate.
They had more than a dozen people who spoke during the public comment portion of the meeting, and a majority of them said they don't think requiring masks is going to help Sapulpa.
There was also only 1 city councilor who wore a mask at the meeting, despite a sign on the doors of City Hall requiring anyone inside wear a mask.
