Tulsa Police Say Teen Runaway Found In Arrested Sapulpa Man's Motel Room

Tulsa Police say a Sapulpa man has been arrested after he was found with a stolen vehicle.

Tulsa police say they saw Matthew Barclay unloading boxes from the stolen truck and tried to approach him but he ran away. Officers eventually caught up with Barclay and he was taken into custody.

Police say they then found a teenage girl and more than $4,000 inside Barclay's motel room along with a gun. They say the truck and ammunition were stolen in Payne County and that the teen is suspected to be a runaway from Creek County. Officers have not determined how she ended up with Barclay and say they have begun a separate investigation.
