Delaware Man Dies After Suffering Head Injuries In Tractor Accident

Authorities said a man died after striking a part of a roadway and falling out of his tractor just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 73-year-old Robert Wilson of Delaware, Okla. was traveling eastbound on County Road 20 in Nowata County where part of the tractor struck the roadway. Wilson was separated from his tractor.

Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Nowata Fire Department due to apparent head injuries.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by OHP.
