Tulsa Man Arrested After Deadly Comanche Park Apartments Shooting

Tulsa police say a man is in custody in connection to a deadly shooting at an apartment complex over the weekend.

Tulsa police say a man is in custody in connection to a deadly shooting at an apartment complex over the weekend.

According to police, the shooting happened at the Comanche Park Apartment complex near 36th St N and Peoria around 9:30 Saturday night. Officers say that's where they found the victim, Rodrick Adkins, with several gunshot wounds. Police say a witness at the scene told detectives that they saw Nia Gaddis walk up to Adkins with a shotgun and shoot multiple times. Police say Adkins and Gaddis knew each other and shared relatives.

After turning himself in, Gaddis told detectives he was being threatened by Adkins. According to the DOC Gaddis is a convicted felon. He is being held in the Tulsa County Jail facing a first-degree murder charge.
