Tulsa Police are looking for a man charged with raping a woman in December.

Jaquez Caldwell, the Weekly Most Wanted from Tulsa Police has been charged with rape and sodomy.

The affidavit in the case said the victim was distraught over breaking up with her boyfriend and she thought Caldwell was coming over to her apartment to comfort her, but she said instead, he raped her.

Documents said the victim tried to stop Caldwell but he dragged her into her living room, pinned her down and raped her.

The victim told investigators she was crying the whole time and saying no and when it was over, she said he told her, “Now don’t you feel better?”

Investigators said after DNA from her rape kit was a match for Caldwell, police talked with Caldwell, who said he was shocked to be accused of rape. He told them, it was consensual and she was not crying and did not resist.

"She didn't wait, she didn't delay. She called immediately. The reason why it takes us so long is first of all we want to get everyone's side of the story,” said Officer Jeanne Pierce with Tulsa Police. “We don't want to just write an affidavit on one side, we want to talk to both sides."

If you know where Caldwell is, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS. You don’t have to give your name.
