Man Found Beaten To Death In Tulsa; 1 Arrested

One man is dead and another is in custody after a homicide near Admiral and Yale.

Police say Kyle Freeman is being held in the Tulsa County Jail.

Officers say EMSA called them to the scene around 11:00 p.m. Thursday night. They found the victim dead when they arrived, and police say it appears he was beaten severely.

It didn't take long for detectives to figure out who they were looking for.

The suspect was found in Creek County, and police say he was with two women at the time.

Both of them were taken in for questioning.

In compliance with the recent Supreme Court ruling, the FBI will take the lead on this investigation because both the suspect and victim are Native Americans.
