Tulsa Authorities Rescue Man From Arkansas River

A man is safe Saturday after being pulled from the Arkansas River.

Tulsa police and Tulsa firefighters responded to the rescue call Saturday afternoon near 31st and Riverside. Firefighters say the man was walking along the east bank in an inner tube when he was swept into the water. Police say a couple in the area saw the man and called for help.
