Police: Suspect Shot During Tulsa Home Invasion

Crime scene tape is still up along New Haven Avenue.

Police say a husband, wife, and their child were inside when the two men came in just after 1:30 a.m. Friday.

The couple told police the suspects were asking about money and started pistol whipping the man.

The victim managed to grab the gun from one of the intruders, and police say he shot both of them.

Officers say when they arrived, they found one of the suspects lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to the head, and he’s at the hospital now in serious condition.

The other suspect ran away and hasn’t been seen since.

Police say the husband went to the hospital as well, but he’s expected to be OK.
