A man is dead after a pursuit led to a deputy-involved shooting Tuesday morning near Admiral and 129th East Avenue.

According to authorities, Rogers County Deputies tried to stop the suspect near Interstate 44 and 164th East Avenue but he refused to stop.

The suspect exited at 129th and rammed one of the deputies vehicles. He then kept driving until he went off the road. Police said the suspect then got into a fight with deputies.

One of the deputies shot the suspect after he tried to pull the gun from a different deputies holster, according to authorities. The suspect died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

The suspect's identity has not been released but deputies say they are familiar with him.

This is a developing story.
