An employee of the Washington County Sheriff’s office is in jail, charged with embezzlement.
According to court documents, Kevin Farley used his position as a fleet supervisor to make personal purchases with the County’s money.
He is accused of purchasing several items, including air filters, a car horn, marine batteries and a speed jack.
Investigators said Farley never installed the horn in a car but used it to scare women who worked at the sheriff’s office.
