TU Athletic Director Derrick Gragg To Become NCAA VP Of Inclusion, Education

The NCAA announced that now-former TU Athletic Director Derrick Gragg has been hired as its new Senior Vice President for inclusion, education, and community engagement.

The NCAA announced that now-former TU Athletic Director Derrick Gragg has been hired as its new Senior Vice President for inclusion, education, and community engagement.

Gragg will also join the NCAA senior management team "will lead all internal inclusion operations and supervise national office staff in inclusion, education and community engagement" according to NCAA.

“Derrick brings exceptional experience and knowledge to the NCAA, and we look forward to his strong leadership around diversity, inclusion, and equity policies and procedures for the Association,” NCAA President Mark Emmert said.

Gragg had been with the University of Tulsa since 2013 and helped bring the Golden Hurricane to the American Athletic Conference. The NCAA says Gragg will begin his new role with the NCAA on Oct. 5.
