TPS Increases Cleaning As Teachers Will Be Still Be In Classrooms

Even though students at Tulsa Public Schools aren’t heading back to the classroom, teachers are going to be back in the buildings for distance learning.

Monday, the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education voted on its final plan, which will implement daily temperature screenings for those coming in to district buildings and require face coverings when people enter or walk around the building.

The district is also asking visiting teachers, or staff who don't normally work in the building, to sign in just in case they have to do contact tracing for a positive case.
