OBI Requesting Blood Donations As Tropical Storms Approach Nearby States

The Oklahoma Blood Institute said it is in urgent need of donors as tropical storms are on their way.

The OBI is calling on people to donate now so that their blood can be sent to centers in the path of tropical storms Marco and Laura. The storms are expected to make landfall in Louisiana and Texas in the next few days.

Everyone who donates blood will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies for free.
