TULSA, Okla. -

Tuesday was the second Tulsa election since the pandemic started and the first since the mask mandate went into effect.

Tuesday’s election is a city-only vote, so there’s no voting out in Tulsa county, where masks are not required.

Polling center workers have been wiping down door handles in between voters and keeping people apart.

The election board had four times as many requests for absentee ballots as usual and are still counting the last ones that arrived in the mail today.
