Oklahoma Lawmakers Weigh In On USPS Readiness For Mail-In Ballot Surge

As the USPS becomes the center of national debate, Oklahoma lawmakers offer thoughts- and critiques - on the emergency bill.

The question of whether the U.S. Postal Service can handle a surge in mail-in ballots in November is the latest issue to divide the nation’s capital.

Congress held hearings and even a rare weekend vote over the issue.  

On Saturday, the House approved the so-called “Delivering for America Act’, providing the Postal Service with $25 billion in emergency finding. The Democrats were joined by more than two dozen Republicans in voting for the act, but none, however, from Oklahoma.
