The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission is reporting its 9th straight week of declining unemployment claims.

The Commission says since March first it has paid out over $1 billion in unemployment insurance and nearly 2.9 billion overall.

The OESC also says work is continuing to get the Lost Wages Assistance Program set up in their system.

It says the LWA program is expected to start distribution to Oklahomans in late September.
