Suspect In Tulsa Police Custody After Fatal Shooting Near QuikTrip

Tulsa Police have released more details about a fatal shooting at a homeless camp on Saturday.

Officers responded to the QuikTrip near I-244 and Sheridan around 10 p.m. and found a man on the ground with gunshot wounds. Michael Grigsty is friends with the victim and says he just saw him on Friday. Grigsty says he knows the victim's family will be devastated.

"I am just worried about her because his mom just got out of the hospital with heart problems so I'm not even sure how she is going to react on this matter," said Grigsty.

Officers say they started interviewing several witnesses and one of them identified Jason Arce as one of the two suspects. Arce has been booked into the Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.
