Skiatook Man Arrested For Suspected Sexual Assault Of 3-Month-Old

Skiatook Police arrested a man accused of raping a three-month-old baby.

Matthew Richard Parker previously served 17 years in prison for child sexual abuse but was released and declared innocent on that case five years ago.

The new case, like the old one, involves sexual abuse of a child. In the first case it was a seven-year-old girl and in this one, a three-month-old boy he was babysitting.

"He should have never been out of custody from that original conviction," Assistant District Attorney Erik Grayless said. "It's frustrating. This case should have been over in 2014."

Parker remains in jail here in Tulsa on a $250,000 bond. News On 6 attempted to reach his attorney from the first case, without success.
