Tulsa Groups Partner To Hand Out Food

A number of groups have been teaming up to hand out fresh food every week.

Workers with OSU-Tulsa and Food On The Move handed out meals in the Greenwood District this afternoon. The Cherokee Nation helped provide meals from area restaurants and the Community Food Bank also prepared meals to hand out.

Workers gave food to more than 800 people Tuesday.

“Today is just another way that we can serve our community, that we love to do, and just make a difference in Tulsa,” Kevin Harper with Food On The Move said.

They plan to hold this event every Tuesday until the end of the year.
