Tulsa Police said a man is in jail Friday morning after leading officers on a chase for the third time in less than 10 days.
Police said the chase started near Admiral and Sheridan and reached speeds of more than 100 MPH.
Officers said the chase started around 11:15 p.m. Thursday and came to an end shortly after when the suspect, identified as Claude Ridder, circled through a yard and hit a police car.
The officer inside the vehicle was not hurt.
Police said Ridder is an ex-con from Arkansas.
Sergeant Paul Madden said the tried to catch Ridder last week.
"We pursued the vehicle, the same vehicle about 10 days ago and he was able to get away from us that night. And then last night, one of my younger officers kicked up a pursuit with him, but we terminated the pursuit based on inclement weather and the driver's driving behavior," said Sgt. Madden.
Police said the car had a stolen tag on it, and the car was stolen.
Officers also found a sawed off shotgun and other items that might be stolen inside the vehicle.
The officer inside the vehicle was not hurt.
This is a developing story.
