Tulsa Public Schools published its first report on COVID-19 cases in the district. The numbers are low as students are learning at home, but the district will be reporting cases among staff.

The district has staff in their buildings, with students at home, and despite precautions they have had cases where employees were positive and in close contact with other employees.

The district set up a weekly reporting system today, which they say will continue once students can return to the classroom.

For this past week, TPS said it's had 4 confirmed cases, who were in close contact with 27 other people with potential exposures to 33 other people.

The superintendent said once students are back, the district plans to continue reporting cases weekly, except for people who are exposed who will get immediate notifications.
